Ehlermann & Agneskirchner Filmproduktion was founded in 2020 by Sandra Ehlermann and Alice Agneskirchner, who both studied film directing in Babelsberg. Sandra has worked as a script consultant for many years and is the founder and owner of the screenwriter search engine Scriptmakers with over 600 online profiles. Alice has directed 30 films, is the winner of the renowned Grimme Television Award and one of the best known documentary filmmakers in Germany. As an active and board member of the German association AG Dok, Alice has been an advocate for the interests of documentary filmmaking for many years. The first documentary film Alice and Sandra produced together, “Come with me to the Cinema – The Gregors,” directed by Alice Agneskirchner, tells the life and love story of the two legendary film curators Erika and Ulrich Gregor and takes the audience on an epic and entertaining journey through cinema history and German history. The film premiered at the FORUM of the Berlinale 2022, was highly acclaimed by the press and has had a successful run at international festivals. Sandra and Alice will continue to produce together and have a number of interesting documentary and fiction films in development.
